Friday Favourites 24th - 28th October 2015
Surprise!!! I did manage to schedule a mini best of the week before I went away, you lucky lot you. This mini post just about compromises the weekend so next week's will be an extended post to cover my graduation. Enjoy ya'll!
1. Joint Birthday.
So I extended my birthday an extra week, no biggie, I'm just really milking this one. My cousin is born a mere week to the day after me and I don't get to see them very often so having four days of fun with the fam was just what the doctor ordered to cure my cold.* We went to TGI Fridays, we played Cluedo (I won btw), we had cake, it was glorious. And they're meeting me in Wrexham next week to see me graduate so that'll be cute too.
*Side note, Doctor's don't prescribe fam time for colds, they just generally tell you take an Ibuprofen and man up. Life.
2. Dyffryn Gardens.
Another week, another day babysitting, another beautiful walk. Seriously, this child is giving me so many opportunities for exercise and cute Instagram grids. This week we went on a jaunt around Dyffryn Gardens in the Vale of Glamorgan which is a National Trust property with a house and gardens and it is beauuuutiful! It was proper October weather so we bundled up warm and spent the majority of the day picking stray moccasins that had flown off a 4 month old foot. That girl.
Visit the gardens here.
3. Graduation.
Next week's best of the week will of course heavily feature my week in Wrexham but finally FINALLY I am graduating on Friday. I finished university so long ago it'll be nice to have some recognition for ya know, actually getting a degree and all that. But whilst I could generally do without the whole gown and getting up on stage and all the fuss, I have been counting down the days until I get to see my crew again. Cannot. Wait.
Soz if you're feeling a bit let down by the mini post, if you can't wait until next week for a proper catch up, here's last week's post to keep you going!
