365 Days Of Happiness
In 2015 I kept my first New Years Resolution all year round - I successfully found (and Instagrammed) 365 happy little moments for each day of the year.
It's a little known fact I have 2 Instagram accounts, my business one and a private personal one which I used for my NYE resolution. In my personal life, 2015 was set to be a difficult year so, inspired by 100 Happy Days which I took part in in 2014, I vowed to find something small that made me happy in every day. Now that we have hit another new year and I completed the challenge (and loved doing it), I'm hoping to make a little book to keep on my shelves and look back on as a reminder that it's the little things in life that bring the most joy.
In a world where the news is full of terror, deaths and sadness and where we are all so self obsessed and wrapped up in our own problems, it is easy to forget there is something good in every day. I had the worst year of my life and yet I managed to find something in 365 days of 2015 that I was happy with, not just the big moments like graduating, holidays and Christmas.
Take some time to remember that even on the worst of days, there is a little ray of sunshine, a little moment of joy or even just the hope that tomorrow or next week will be better. Life is stressful and sad and we don't always feel happy and that's ok but by looking for the little things, for appreciating the smaller things in life like a thank you card or an evening belly laughing with friends, we can remember, we don't have it so bad after all.
So if you haven't made a New Years Resolution for 2016, I'd thoroughly recommend borrowing mine. Plus it's a really good excuse for a full Insta feed right? Have the happiest of years.
*You might note there are some days missing and some blurry images, as much as I love sharing my life with ya'll, there are some things I'm not willing to splash all over the internet (mainly cute photos of my niece soz).
**You can also clearly pin point where I moved from an LG G2 to an iPhone based on my screen shots and when Instagram updated their interface. What larks.
