5 Minutes With My Advertisers - November 2016.

Meet my November Advertisers.

This month is the first month I have offered advertising on my blog and I honestly could squeeze the 6 girls who signed up to be my first go guinea pigs. I find it a bit odd that most advertisers posts are at the end of the month when those people are switching over to a new bunch so my 'meet the advertisers' will be around this time every month (if I can pull my finger out and get them scheduled).

I also wanted to do something a bit different than just a little paragraph about each person or just get them to do a little bio so here's 5 minutes with the gorgeous girls gracing my sidebar this month....

5.

Sarah from Just Buttons is nothing short of a miracle managing to run a (very) glossy mummy and lifestyle blog whilst entertaining and looking after her little one Oliver. I get zero done when I have my niece and she's nearly 1 and a half andddddd I only babysit her twice a week, how Sarah does it is beyond me.

4.

Her Instagram is full of pictures of her son who FYI is the cutest little bean on the planet. He seems like the happiest little thing and her feed is full of Autumnal posts of him in his fluffy coat. I die.

3.

My fav post of hers recently was 'Travelling Aboard With A Baby' because honestly, I am in awe. When her son was just EIGHT weeks old her and her family hopped on a plane and went to Florida. Like not even just over the Channel or something, Florida.

2.

Sarah has a newsletter attached to her blog which you can sign up to which I looooove. I have always toyed with the idea of a newsletter, more for my illustration than my blog but I think it's a really fun informal way of chatting to your readers about stuff you might not have included on the old blog.

1.

If Mummy blogging isn't your thing Sarah's blog is also interjected with lifestyle posts, most recently on starting a blog but as diverse as gaming, growing up and honeymoons! Everything a gal could want.

5.

Hazel (face of fleurcharms) sums herself and her blog up in her bio as 'a general video-making, Disney loving, all round creative person' and I think that's so cute I couldn't do an intro any better.

4.

Something I don't think I've ever seen on a blog before, on fleurcharms Hazel has a photography tab and oh sweet baby jesus it's beautiful. She collaborates with her fiancé and it's gorgeoussssss. It's basically like the most Autumnal Instagram grid of dreams and the locations are insane.

3.

Hazel recently blogged about the Bloggers Halloween Party which looked sooo good and the costumes were amazing (although Hazel's spider would've made me do a double take and probs run away). Also she won the pumpkin design competition and the tweeting competition which I thought was so cute and all the prizes looked ace.

2.

Hazel is the only blogger in this month's advertising who is promoting their YouTube and whilst I didn't have the time to sit down today and binge watch (booo real life and working), I did have a quick nosey and her weekly vlogs look like my kinda jam.

1.

I wasn't following Hazel on Bloglovin up until she signed up as an advertiser (I'm truly awful with it, no wonder people never follow me back!) so I went on a bit of a nosey and read back a good 10 or 20 posts binge reading and LOVED her post on 5 things her and her fiancé have done in 5 years together. I love nosing in on other people's lives and what these two have achieved in 5 years is no small feat.

5.

Lottie from In Restless Wonder is based in Dorset, one of my favourite places so it's no surprise I'm a bit in love with her blog and her photos. The most whimsical gorgeous blog design you will ultimately want to spend your days in the forest documenting your travels with her...preferably with that cuppa tea she keeps mentioning.

4.

Lottie's Instagram is one of THE most under rated accounts I have ever had the good fortune to stumble upon. Like I was shocked more people aren't shouting about it (which is why I am now) because oh my lord it's gorgeous from flatlays to shots of her surroundings to architecture, you NEED to be following her.

3.

And while we're on the subject of social media her Facebook gave me serious goals. I am absolutely dreadful with mine, I rarely update it, update it all in one go and never really put much effort into it. However, after logging into Lottie's FB for the link for this post I have vowed to up my game because hers is everything I want mine to be and more.

2.

100% my fav post of Lottie's lately was A Birthday Weekend In Cornwall because, yet again, one of my fav places. Like I may as well just say from Cornwall one side to Sussex on the other, gimme gimme all. This post explores The Eden Project and The Lost Gardens of Heligan, both of which I have been to about 5 times each, both of which I am desperate to explore again and the photos in this post will make you add it high on your places to go too.

1.

And if Cornwall didn't convince you enough then you need to read the latest post on Stourhead. Oh mumma. My parents visited about 2 years ago or so and they basically haven't stopped talking about why I should go since and after seeing it through the lens of Lottie's camera I am sold. My parents went in October and I am certain Autumn is the time to go and explore it because just look at them colours.

5.

FYI Naomi is bae, like let's just get it out of the way now that I consider her one of my loveliest Twitter pals and she sometimes talks to me and Tina from Tea Is For Tina and Nia from The Cardiff Cwtch in Welsh and I feel like we're the coolest little gang.

4.

Naomi lives and works in Japan which I think is sooooo cool but makes chatting to her pretty difficult because of the time difference. Boo. Luckily it means I can just stalk her blog which FYI is sooo glossy and pretty and cute and pink errrr where.

3.

Another underrated yet beautiful Instagram I love love love looking through Naomi's because it's so varied. One day it'll be a flatlay, one day it'll be a village, one day it'll be a meal and then the next day it'll be a cafe in Japan. I never quite know what she's going to post next but I can be damn sure I'll double tap that little heart.

2.

Naomi has tabs along the top of her blog including feminism and mental health as well as life style and the feminism one is my fav. It makes me feel a bit YOU GO GURL and I shared her post on slut myths in a fav posts a month or two back. Oh and just now she's teamed up with Tara from Cattitude & Co for a post on period positivity and it's ace. Like ace.

1.

Naomi nails the whole blogging about Pinterest vibe that I aspire to do and I never quite manage to pull off as well as her. She compiled a post on creative spaces that just had desk porn written all over it but this one on Autumn is my absolute favourite of late. Burnt orange is one of my most favourite colours and this post gave me all the feels. Get on it before winter sets in too much!

5.

Another little cherub I get to call my pal, Hailey from The Undateable Girl's Diary sent me a birthday present in the post all the way from Germany this year as a surprise. She's a gem. She was one of my guest bloggers way back in July, she's been mentioned all over the blog and social media. Fan girl right here.

4.

Hailey lives in Germany but last year (I think) she lived in the States and she still regularly shares photos of her time there on her Instagram in amongst photos from home. It makes for the most lovely feed of architecture from different corners of the earth and fuels my wanderlust and the need to get out and explore.

3.

Hailey is the only blogger this month to share her Snapchat which shows how on the ball she is because I would never have thought of it.... She is the reason I made a blog snapchat because she told me what an excellent idea it was so ya'll have her to thank for that beauty.

2.

I shared a post Hailey wrote in my last monthly favs about Donald Trump but my favourite post of late is her monthly roundup - Goodbye October. I think monthly reviews can get really stale because we all do them, I know I feel that way about mine a lot but Hailey's has failed to get old for me yet. I especially love her lists of lifes lovely little things and the articles she shares, this month being if the cast of friends had Instagram obvs.

1.

Another thing I haven't seen on a lot (if any) blogs I read, Hailey has a bucket list tab which not only gives me inspo for the perfect bucket list (hello hanging out with the Kardashians) but is also a great way of tracking one. And it's fun to check in and see what she's ticked off!

5.

Bethany from Spare Oom has a bio under her photo on her blog that reads 'I read a lot and spend money on things I can't afford' and I have never resonated with a bio so much in my life.

4.

I am struggling to choose a fav recent blog post of Bethany's real talk. My absolute favourite type of blogs are ones with a lot of variety, hence the way I write mine and Bethany's is exactly my shabang. So as an example down her 'most popular' sidebar she's got a beauty haul, a post on Twitter chats, a goals post and the posts I'm going to mention. She writes about everything and I luhhhh her.

3.

So I went with this post on 'Bizarre Homeware' because I have a house full of mad stuff like this and I am so hideously nosey I love having a peep at people's collections. FYI I think the cat hot water/cushion combos are amazing, the dinosaur planters need to be mine but it is Mack the mackerel that I hold a soft spot for.

2.

How are all these girls such badasses on their blog tabs?? They all have such fab ideas and Bethany is no different. Bethany decided with 13 months until her 25th birthday she'd set herself 13 challenges to complete in that time and that's gone from Mandarin Chinese to baking to blogtober, the latter of which I caught up with and loved.

1.

I don't know who designed the header for Bethany's blog. I don't know if she did, if she bought it, if someone designed it for her, all I know is I think it's beautiful. The teeny tiny illustration of the wardrobe is to die for it's so cute and the colours in the banner itself are so whimsical and I adore it and am a bit (hideously) jealous.
