5 Minutes With My March Advertisers.
How it's come to writing my March advertisers is beyond me. This year is going crazy quick and lord only knows how we've got to this point but I have 6 little loves advertising on my sidebar with me again who I have the pleasure of introducing.
5.
It feels like forever and ever ago since Naomi signed up to be my Gold advertiser for this month. She nabbed the slot a few months back and has been patiently waiting so long she even had a redesign and had to send me a new logo! And whilst we're talking about design - Naomi's blog is SO sassy and SO classy, it's sleek, it's profesh and it's pink, all winners in my book.
4.
Between training to be a makeup artist, working and caring for her two daughters I have no idea how Naomi even manages to find time to blog but find time she does. In the last few days since beginning advertising with me she's managed to whack out 3 posts, my favourite of which is '8 Beauty Errors I Made As A Teenager' because I feel like we can all relate to these.
3.
I've made it no secret before, I find it really hard to read purely beauty blogs simple because I am not a beauty addict, am allergic to half the stuff in any normal person's makeup stash and so I find the content hard to wade through. Which is why I love the fact Naomi's blog is interjected with lifestyle, with parenting, with dating, with swatches, with reviews on Primark...all stuff I can get on board with and a variety that means there's something for everyone.
2.
I am slowly but surely getting back into Pinterest, I'm not sure my love for it ever left but I certainly haven't dedicated enough time to it lately. Luckily I went on a bit of a stalk of Naomi's and it's gorge. Like seriously. My fav board (which I had a happy 5 minutes pinning from) is the nail inspo.
1.
As well as running around after two girls and running a blog, Naomi also manages to run a bunch of social media pages and Facebook is the one that stood out for me. She uses it way better than I use mine, not only posting promos to her latest blog posts but also sharing Instagram pics, quotes and generally making it way more personable.

I feel like I should start by saying Sophia from The Sofieyah Diaries has a banner on her FB page that says 'new video every Monday, new blog posts every Monday Wednesday & Friday' and I can't even deal with the organisation. I know I post regularly, I know some weeks I post every day but it's the schedule I don't have, the drive to commit to a posting schedule, I just can't stick to it and I massively respect anyone who can.
4.
I shared this link on Twitter but I wanted to share it again here because we all know my obsessive nature when it comes to bullet journaling. My love has not yet died, the light has not dimmed, I'm not even low key obsessed, it's full on. Last week Sophia wrote this post on why you should start a bullet journal and I can totally get on board with it, especially the options being limitless. Still not convinced on whether bullet journaling is for you? Definitely give this one a read.
3.
I rarely get to share Youtube channels on my advertisers as a lot of my gals either don't have them or just tend to promote their blogs but here we are with one! Like I mentioned above, Sophia posts a weekly video every Monday and some of the latest offerings for you to get stuck into include a beginners guide to bujo (my fav), Valentine's Day card DIYS, fashion and makeup.
2.
I've mentioned before I have a proper explore of people's blogs when they advertise with me, the type of blog tour you don't normally do when just reading someone's work and upon my stalk I found Sophia has a tab dedicated to relationships. Be that relationships with yourself, romantic, friendships....there's something about everything and my personal favourite read was this one on Long Distance Relationships, something I've done and come out the other side of.
1.
Sophia has a whole host of social media accounts but she doesn't have Twitter. Instead of retweeting, I am making an exception and tweeting more unique links than normal Silver slots to make up for it. Not having Twitter means I don't actually tag Sophia in my promos for her so if you think I've forgotten, don't you worry!

Guess who's back? Back again? (If you didn't read that as Eminem, go now). Hailey has advertised with me for 4 whole months now so I thought as a thank you for parting with all that cash and being such a babe in supporting me, I'd treat her to a freebie month. Hailey has been with me since the start of my advertising packages and my sidebar will feel so weird when she's not on it anymore!
4.
A self confessed 90s nut, Hailey did the 90s tag last week and it was SO GOOD. I was born in 1992 so I have enough memories of the 90s/early 2000s to totally get on board with this post. Yessss to the Spice Girls and oh lord Dreamphone brought back a few memories for me! The fashion bit made me laugh so much when I was suddenly reminded of my luminous orange bike shorts with a crop top and the Babysitters Club books were definitely some of my favs too.
3.
In celebration of International Women's Day this week Hailey and I shared very similar posts on some of our favourite quotes relating to, about and from women. Hailey shared inspiring quotes from women like Madonna, Hilary Clinton, Beyoncé, Lady Gaga, Michelle Obama.....some amazing quotes and some amazing empowering women and I've bookmarked this one to come back to when I need some inspo. FYI my fav was "I keep waiting to meet a man who has more balls than I do." — Salma Hayek
2.
Last month was Hailey's birthday and last year it was mine. For my birthday Hailey sent me a completely surprise letter and present, I had no idea it was coming and actually opened it a bit early by accident. For Hailey's birthday (it legit arrived on the day I was so proud of myself) I returned her kindness and sent her a card and present, the cutest pencil case I have ever seen, and one I very much wanted myself!
1.
I've banged on about Hailey's Instagram feed a lot over the past few months but I'm going to just finish on it again because it is looking BEAUTIFUL at the moment. The architecture that surrounds her, the throwbacks to her travels, the blossom starting to come on the trees...it just makes me want to up and leave and find somewhere just as gorgeous to photograph.

Victoria is the brains behind Lylia Rose, a blog, shop and everything in between. You only have to read her bio on her blog to see she's a multitasking wizard and her blog brand collab list is INSANE. How she has the time to write them all is beyond.
4.
On her website, Victoria has a whole page dedicated to advertising small businesses, something I am a massive fan of. Small businesses, shopping small and shopping local is becoming more and more recognised and I love that there's a whole host of them on Lylia Rose. I am a bit in love with the funky cushion sets.
3.
Guys guys guys.....there's a freebie on this blog. Yuh huh you heard right. This month if you spend £20.00 you get a free scarf thrown in with your order and oh so Spring like. Lylia Rose has jewellery, scarves, pencil cases, coin purses, wallets....errthang so you can easily spend your 20 quid on goodies. I am lusting after the green dragonfly print if you want my advice FYI.
2.
So it's not just all good deeds and business and shopping with Lylia Rose, there's obviously a blog to promote too which is why Victoria is signed up with me. After I wrote my Mother's Day Gift Guide I read Victoria's review of the Mills & Boon Turning Into Your Mother book and I so wish I'd included it. It looks so funny and I'm going to get my hands on a copy for my Mama as a little addition to her Mother's Day present I feel like my mum will especially resonate with the lack of empty nest....
1.
Legit Lylia Rose Instagram following is my dream and with the eclectic mix of posts I can see why. There's a lot of pictures of cacti and succulents if you keep scrolling which is enough to get me following with a healthy dosage of cute kids, food and a puppy thrown in too.

So I've had Hailey with me from the beginning and I've had people block book a few months back to back but the gorge Megan from Lazy Thoughts is the first advertiser to come back after a few months so hopefully that means I'm doing something right. Megan advertised with me back in December which feels like an absolute age ago. You can read what I wrote about her over here.
4.
Megan gave me a little shout out in a blog post lately as an appreciation for my blog stats reports every month cos she is a general babe. She shared her stats and social media stats for February in a little report and I was reading along happily before I even knew she'd mentioned me at the bottom because I loooove posts like these. I'm a nosey cow, I love to see into people's lives and their blogs and now I'll be reading these reports every time she writes one!
3.
Since last advertising with me, Megan has had a little revamp of her blog and can we please just talk about her profile pic? I wish I was that sleek and glossy. Her layout and her promo photography is the stuff of dreams, she's an absolute whizz and I am constantly in awe (and envy) of her images.
2.
And whilst we're on the topic of images we should just go right ahead onto Instagram shouldn't we? I know I talked about my love for Megan's feed last time but I swear down she only gets better and better. One of THE most undervalued Instagram accounts I have ever seen, she deserves the biggest following ever and I can only assume people haven't found her yet. She's the best kept secret cos I am obsessed, I'm not sure she's posted a photo I haven't tapped the heart on in the past few months.
1.
Again, when Megan advertised with me in December I mentioned I had discovered her blog through trawling bullet journal posts so I thought what better way to end than share another one? Megan's latest bullet journal post is how to set up your bujo for the new year, one I read and reread for inspiration when it came to setting up my new journal (I swear I'll get a post up on that soon). Megan's journal is suuuuper neat and cute and I love the monthly calendar layout and the dates for the new year cos I totally fudged mine up when I took inspo from hers. She is a bujo queen.

I left Effi from Sparkleberry to the end of my advertisers post cos I hate her. Jk, the BEAUT of a human that is Effi is one of the #BloggerPitP babes whatsapp group, one of my blogging squad and one of my fav people so I thought I'd best leave her to the end so I could work out how to describe my love for her.
4.
I can't even remember how I stumbled across Sparkleberry before Sarah brought this motley crew of bloggers together to organise an event but I do know I've been reading long enough to see it evolve, see redesigns and see every turn Effi has taken in the past year or so. I feel like as Effi brought more and more minimalism into her life, her blog reflected that which I LOVE because I feel like it's so her. I mean, I couldn't ever do what she does because she's an absolute boss but ya know, I like to live through her blog and feel like I'm doing good things.
3.
I deliberated over which of Effi's recent blog posts to share but I set upon Journey To Gymnastics; Part 9. Obvs you can catch up with the series from the start but essentially Effi is sharing her journey back into gymnastics for strength and fitness and in that she also documents things like healthy eating and jesus christ she is my inspiration. Forget all this fast diet and unrealistic workout bollocks, Effi documents what she does and what she eats as a vegan and what works best for her and it's real, it's achievable and she needs to be a personal trainer or dietician or summin.
2.
This was the other post I wanted to share of Effi's less recent ones (January, not exactly 4 years ago) so I decided to just go ahead and share it too. Like I mentioned above, Effi has been including minimalism and more importantly, just less waste, into her life for a little while and she wrote this one on how she achieved 70% less stuff. It's drastic don't get me wrong but it seems logical to me, it seems so cleansing and therapeutic and whilst I probably won't get to 70%, I definitely want to go through my belongings and have the biggest of Spring clean sort outs.
1.
Effi and her fella not only run their own business and work for themselves now, they're also venturing out into a new business. I know, I don't know how they do it either. You can follow their journey into coffees, teas, juices and smoothies over on their dedicated Instagram account mugstop.cafe. It does come with a warning though - it will make you SUPER thirsty for good looking drinks.
