I am changing up my little blog for the next working week with a little homeware edit every day. I am running on empty lately being so busy in my life and my blog is falling behind so I wanted to schedule some content to tide me over this week when I jetset off again on a mini UK break.
It's a year this month since Joss and I finished decorating our house and got it exactly the way we wanted it, and the way it stands now and also obvs April is the perfect time for spring cleaning, or changing your living situation up a bit.
With that in mind I decided to do a homeware edit for 5 rooms of your house full of all the stuff I'd buy if we were starting our place from scratch.
Today's homeware edit is all about the hub of most homes; the kitchen/dining space. These days a designated dining room is less and less popular and eating in the kitchen and open living is more desired. We have our table in the kitchen with a bench brought out for extra guests meaning we're able to fit 6 comfortably (and a tiny two year old squished in when my niece is here too!)
Kitchen's see us literally doing as it was intended - cooking and baking and eating. But for most home it's also where you catch up at the end of the day all round the table, where you sit with a cuppa with your bestie and where kids and their friends are sprawled all over the counters. Aside from the actual appliances and counters and plumbing there's a million and one tiny things that make up a kitchen and I've picked my favs for this wishlist - from linen to egg baskets, from mugs to the most fancy scrubbing brush I have ever seen (number 1)
