5 Minutes With My Advertisers - February 2018.
It's that time of the month again my friends.
No not that time of the month. It's time to introduce my advertisers for the next few weeks. For me, those lost few days in February feels like a month in itself and February feels like it's over and done with in a flash so really idk why you crazy lot ever sign up to advertise in Feb. But I love ya all for it anyway.
Here's the new and returning faces advertising on my sidebar this month.
5.
I genuinely feel like Beth has advertised with me loads but when I looked back at my (carefully colour coded) spreadsheet this is the third time. Beth advertised way way back in December 2016 and then in July 2017 and now here she is, back in the top slot for the next few weeks.
4.
I have a lot of content to share from Beth this month and we're only 6 days into the month so safe to say she's proper killing it. Beth has been taking things slow, easing herself into the new year and her blog has reflected that but it looks like she's set into February with a bang. She's currently in Antigua waiting to surprise her husband who has been casually rowing the Atlantic for the last 60odd days and she wrote this chatty life update (with a cheeky shout out to yours truly) with the sexiest promo shot ever.
3.
She then swiftly followed it up with this post entitled 'please stop commenting on my body' which is maybe not the easiest of reads but definitely worth it. I actually shared a screenshot of this on my Insta stories a few days ago because the line 'but frankly, what the fuck has that got to do with anyone else' practically had me punching a fist into the year and giving her a standing ovation.
2.
Beth's blog has long been a fav of mine, something I haven't exactly kept quiet about but if by some madness you haven't read her words before there's plenty to tickle your pickle. She lists her categories as beauty, books, food&drink, lifestyle, mental health, personal, reviews and travel so you'll be hard pushed NOT to find something you enjoy reading. Check her out here!
1.
Beth's Instagram continues to perplex me how she doesn't have like 100,000 followers because her photography is just ridiculous. If you love nature, the highlands or sweeping views of lochs (or at the moment palm trees and villas) then you will love her account and honestly it makes me want to visit Scotland more and more every day. Follow her over here.

A long standing advertiser of mine, Hailey has featured on this blog a lot over the time from way back in 2016 which she was a guest blogger of mine. She advertised with me for my first two months in 2016 in November and December and then again in January, February, March, September, November and December in 2017.
4.
If you know anything about me you'll know I love nothing more than a new year new me type blog post that gets you all pumped up and motivated and Hailey in January has been no different. This post is a really interesting read because she starts it off by saying that maybe 2017 wasn't her year but goes on to reminisce about all the good things that did happen and how she's going to make 2018 the one for her. Safe to say I'll still be reading in early 2019 to see how she got on.
3.
Hailey's end of the month round ups are some of my favs, something I've mentioned on here plenty of times and this one was of course no different. She details her annual leave for a trip to Barcelona later this month where she'll be spending her birthday which sounds sooo fun and also shares some brilliant links (as always) - my personal fav being 15 times Ryan Reynolds was hilarious on Twitter in the last year.
2.
Hailey has a pretty big exciting birthday coming up (in fact I shared her post late last year on why adulting sucks which was timely). If you're not already following her on Twitter make sure you correct that immediately and send her a big ol' HAPPY BDAY tweet on Februrary 13th.
1.
This is not the last time you'll see Hailey on this humble blog of mine. No sirree she is in fact signed up again for March and April so make sure to keep her in your bookmarked blogs!

Who's this cheeky chap gracing my sidebar for another month? B,Rambling is the new name and design of Bethany who you might remember from previous advertising months under The Spare Oom. I introduced her new sassy ass blog last month but she's previously been here from way back when in November 2016, following it up in April, May, June, July and August.
4.
I am loving Bethany's blog more than ever lately, which I feel like I always say, but I really am so heads up, grab a brew, I am about to share a whole heap of links. Bethany's latest post is this one on reading and writing blogs and it's something I totally relate with. I won't spoil the whole thing but she talks about whether or not reading a lot of blogs also influences how you write and whether we're all carbon copies or not and it was a really great read imo.
3.
In the last few weeks Bethany has shared a very wordy, but well worth the read, blog post on hidradenitis suppuritiva; a condition I am sure you, like I, have never heard of. I absolutely couldn't do it justice describing what it is but Bethany really gets into detail about what it is, how it affects her and how it can be managed and it's so so worth a read.
2.
Undoubtedly my favourite post Bethany has written lately is on what she learnt from not showering. FYI she didn't just decided to ditch the shower, she had a patch test for skin allergies that meant she couldn't get them wet but this post had me (as a BIG allergy sufferer) proper loling - thoroughly recommended.

My love for this gal knows no bounds and I am thrilled for her that her new look blog is looking so swish, going so well and she seems like she's really on fire with her content and all round life. Luckily for me (and you) she's with me all the way to June!

It's been a while since this angel was advertising with me but Megan from Lazy Thoughts is here, she's back and she's more than welcome. Megan's blog is what I consider to be my blogging twinnie - you know how cities have 'twinned with' signs where they're twinned with European cities or whatever? I think we should have them on our blogs. You can read about her previous advertising collabs from December 2016, March, April, June, July, September and October.
4.
Megan's been super poorly lately so you'll forgive her I'm sure for not have written 10 blogs 6 days into February. She has however shared her social media and blog statistics for January and it's always a post I look forward to seeing published, not least because we write ours the same way so I get the best comparison ever. It's always really fun to see how Megan is doing and how I am doing, especially when our blogs are so similar and the trends I always tend to see are insane. Chances are if she's had a shit month, I have too and then on the flip side, January always sees us have our best ever months due to our mutual Pinterest content.
3.
Of course I couldn't mention Megan's blog and not mention her bullet journal content, which has always remained the reason she's my advertiser with consistently the most engagement; it's cos her audience is my audience and vice versa. Last month Megan shared her 2018 bullet journal with a post on what she's adding to it with lots of lovely straight up images so you can get allll the inspiration. It's never too late to add a new spread to your bujo in my opinion so well worth checking out.
2.
Megan has been super criticising of her own Instagram lately yet it still remains one of my very firm favourites and one I always see on my feed - therefore beats the algorithm for me. I get where she's coming from though as it's the same with me with my own feed (see, twins) where we're both between themes and trying to come up with some creative content we love but also that gets all dem likes from you guys. That being said I have no doubt Megan would be your jam so if you aren't following her already, definitely do and get that following count up.
1.
Sick of seeing me wax lyrical about this gal? Tough - the little gem that she is has signed up to advertise again in March and April with yours truly so you're stuck with us. And if you're really feeling flash you could always clamour at Megan to reopen her own advertising packages....

At some point I'm sure I'm going to have to stop doing this because the list will be the length of my arm but I always like to share when advertisers have been advertising with me for a while so you can check out older links. Ellen is safely my longest standing advertiser having previously been with me in April, May, June, July, August. September, November, December and also last month too.
4.
Today just so happens to be 100 years since women got the vote in the UK so it was highly appropriate that Ellen's post published just today is a celebration of women. Ellen created a blog series called 'why she inspired me' and in today's post she shares some of her fav bloggers and why she thinks supporting other gals is empowering for us all.
3.
Ellen's blog has always been full of thrifty tips, either for making money or saving it and this month has been no different. She recently shared this post on 3 frugal things she's been doing lately which ranges from having a big ol' clear out to making her own pom poms which I looooved.
2.
I always like to do a bit of digging on my advertisers blogs and upon searching through Ellen's i realised she has an Etsy shop I never even knew about! I am all about promoting other people's side hustles, online shops and freelance businesses so here's the link to Ellen's lovely shop full of amazing vintage jewellery. Shop here!
1.
Last month I mentioned that Ellen had signed up with me for five months meaning she's a permanent fixture on my sidebar till June.....and then she went and signed up again. My advertising slots really are filling up quickly so she got ahead of the game and signed up to advertise until DECEMBER. Safe to say you'll be familiar with her name as much as mine by the end of 2018.

The only new face on my sidebar this month is probably not a new face to most of you at all. Hannah is the last member of the squad to have an advertising slot with me and aside from being one of my all time fav bloggers, she just so happens to be one of my very best blogging and IRL pals. She's tiny, she's the coolest person I have ever met, she's my blog inspo and she is currently Whatsapping me about being veggie and I am having to resist very hard not to reply because FFS HANNAH I AM WORKING.
4.
Hannah recently joined me on the dark side of blogging; ie Squarespace. I have been using it as my platform of choice for 2 years and finally persuaded her it was the one and now she's here and means I can get her to help me when I get stuck with coding. She recently had a big design shuffle and that in turn inspired me to redo mine and now we have the same layout for our blogs and I get envy every day mine doesn't look like hers. Speaking of 'who would your blog be twinned with', for me Hannah and From Roses are twins in my book so if you like the white space, bokeh filled shots, whimsical writing pieces and inspiring Insta grid of Rebecca than I'll be damned if you don't like Hannah too.
3.
Hannah and her other half Luke recently went on a trip to Norway that she'd booked for his birthday (best GF award?) and she's written a big photo heavy write up of their stay. I'd never in a million years have considered a January escape to somewhere more cold than the UK but safe to say after her recommendation and her photos it's high on my list. It looks like just THE cutest and most hygge place ever and if you're looking to book a winter break then this is 100% the post for you.
2.
I've obviously been following Hannah on Instagram for a considerable amount of time now but it never fails to be up there in my top favourites. Whether she has a break between themes or posts every day it's always top of my feed and I always genuinely love it and leave a lil spam comment or two to help her through the day. If you like bokeh, landscapes, grey tones and cool girls that wear a lot of black then this is the grid for you and I will always be honoured that I get to see her UNUM feed before you all do.
1.
Finally, I couldn't let this girl go without mentioning her bullet journal. Probably the sole reason I started mine and deffo one of my biggest inspirations I have nicked countless spread ideas and page layouts from her and it's only set to continue as she gives us sneak peeks on our Whatsapp group. Yes, you should be jealous. Hannah has a whole category dedicated to bullet journaling, has some very viral pins floating about and has the most beautifully painted bujo in all the land and lord if you're a fan of mine, just wait till you see hers. My recommendation would be to start with her most recent 2018 bujo look through and then, uhm, work back until you've read everything she's ever done.
