I'm come right out and say it; I didn't top the 64K pageviews on my blog in January alone. I know, I know, poor me. I knew it was a one off, I think my Pinterest posts had a bit of a moment again and things have returned to calmer familiar waters this month. Not to say I had a bad month, by no means not but much more similar ground to the last few reports I've done.
Oh January you crazy babe you.
My stats this month are very much like the past few (Jan excluded obvs) so hopefully not too boring a read but can we please just talk about my Instagram a mo? I am SO much happier with how it's looking and my new bright light Spring like theme and it *seems* to be paying off cos some people have said some real nice things about it lately.
Instagram;
I stopped sharing my analytics on Insta a while back because quite frankly nothing was changing. That fucking algorithm meant I was stuck on the same sorts of numbers for months even though I was supposedly gaining followers every month. FFS. Now my new theme is brining people in I thought I'd just mention every month what sort of following I have as a way of tracking it - as I write this I have 958 but have been wavering on around the 970 generally.
Twitter;
The less said about my apparent inability to check in with Twitter chats and therefore improve my engagement, blog following, blogger relationships and Twitter following the better. I am appalling at it, it really has a massive knock on my Twitter stats, I can't seem to bring myself out of it.
HAHAHAH REMEMBER WHEN IT WAS JANUARY AND I SAID I TWEETED ONLY 400 TIMES - THE LOWEST STATS SINCE MARCH 2016 AND THEN I CAME TO FEBRUARY AND I ONLY TWEETED 300 TIMES. Wtf is wrong with me.
Weirdly whilst tweeting less and less, my impressions actually grew and went back up to 72K from 66 the previous month so I guess although it was less it was more valuable? Or summin. Other than that my mentions and page visits went down unsurprisingly but my following jumped by 170 new chums which is cute and all until a whole bunch unfollowed me in March. Idk what I did to offend people but if ya'll could come back that'd be ace.

Like I mentioned in my intro, my viral pins on bullet journalling had a bit of a moment again in January but seemingly quietened down in Feb, we're still not quite up to the 100 new followers a day era. I haven't had a proper pinning spree in ages and it's on my to do list for when I have infinite amounts of time to do all the things I know I should be doing for the good of my blog and my social media.
I ended January just shy of 2100 followers and I now have 2380 so we're building slowly and I still hope to hit my target of 10K by the end of the year if I get my arse in check. Interesting and probably down to the quiet on my big pins, my monthly reach went down from over 2 million to a mere 180 million. I know, I know, weep for me.
Bloglovin;
Well halle-bloody-lujah I finally made some sort of (very small) progress with the bane of my blogging existence. I reported I ended January on 398 followers and I now have 435 which is the biggest leap in a single month probably since I started out. My comprehensive guide to blogging post did well on Bloglovin and probably helped toward a little rush of followers, if only for a day or two. Every little helps and all that.
Google Analytics;
Like I said, this month things have returned to relative normality on the old Bloglovin front. I ended last month with 64K pageviews (oh lawd what a month) and 288K pageviews in my blogging history of a full year.
This month my daily views went back down to around 1000 a day which has been pretty regular for a good 6 months now so I had a total of just over 33K pageviews from just over 18K visitors. This pushed my overall pageviews to just over 321K and now I'm bored looking at it, I just want to hit 400K now. I hate me too don't worry.
