How is November nearly over already?? How?? I have been hideously excited for Christmas for so long and then suddenly, I'm all caught up with work and I haven't bought any Christmas presents and it's basically December. Awkward.
1. Too Busy Earning.
If you follow me on Twitter you might have seen a few (ok a lot) of tweets about how I am horrifically busy with work at the moment. I finished a website job at the beginning of this week (more on that to come) and I started a new collab with Ben Seas Design (sneak peeks coming soon) then suddenly over the course of the weekend 3 more personalised Christmas card orders and mid week a big commission for business compliment slips. Despite being mildly TERRIBLY stressed out when my internet went down for a day, I love being busy and working on a variety of different work.

2. A Little Business Investment.
This week a little addition to my business family entered the world - a sibling to my Macbook Pro. Yuh huh, I invested in a beeeeautiful iMac and it was love at first sight. I spent the entirety of my student life saving every few spare quid I could find to buy an iMac when I started my own business and 6 months in, I got a deal I couldn't refuse. Typically it arrived when the internet was down but it is up and running and wonderful.

3. Vale Cider.
I have been banging on about Vale Cider for a while now on social media and particularly in my Best Of The Week posts but seriously, it's so good. It's a family run business who work flippin hard at making quality cider andddd this Christmas they have a whole range of gifts for sale. Over the next few days they are at a few Christmas markets and shows and not only am I working with them, they are also showcasing my one off illustrations they commissioned for the business. I can't show them off until the big reveal so keep your eyes peeled on social media and in the mean time have a look at their Facebook and website!

4. Pink Hair Don't Care!
When I was in university I did that typical art student thing and dyed my hair bright pink. A year on, I did exactly the same thing and my heart does all the happy flips every time I see it in a reflection.

5. Finally An Officiated Graduate.
Nearly a month after my graduation (read all about that here) I opened my post yesterday to my official degree certificate. These days, I can actually prove I have a qualification to support the career I do. I am going to frame my certificate next to my children's publishing award from the Randolph Caldecott Society and hang them in my new studio*
