Pinspiration; July 2017.
Every month I exclaim over how quickly the weeks are flying by and every new month I say no this one's gone the quickest. Not one to break habit but the fact we're into July has completely thrown me off course.
My problem with summer months is I feel like there's a definitive start and end? I am so so used to school routine, to the 6 weeks of summer and then in university years the near on 3 months. I graduated 2 years ago now yet I still feel like I'm waiting for something to start? Like a date I can be like "ok so summer holidays have started now".
But real life isn't like that? I spose if we have a holiday booked there's some kind of date we're looking forward to? But I'm only away for 5 days this year and it's less of a holiday more just nipping in to see my parents and then home again. I wonder if you grow out of this feeling?
But enough of my mid life crisis, summer is here, we've seen some hot weather and I for one am starting to think about potato salad and beach days and long car journeys and late sunsets. Here's to the summer months (and don't forget to take part in my Instagram challenge!)
As always, I don't own these images and if you are the creator and would like them credited differently please let me know!
